About Dr. Erin Coello, DVM
Dr. Erin is a small animal veterinarian in Jacksonville, FL. She has always had a love for animals and knew from a young age that a career with animals was her calling. She began working for her hometown veterinarian as soon as she was able. After graduating from the University of Florida, she explored other career options, dabbling in everything from research projects with insects and reptiles, and eventually became a dolphin trainer. However, one thing never changed; she had a passion for veterinary medicine. Dr. Erin graduated from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine and continued her lifelong goal of serving animals and their companion humans in her community.
When she is not volunteering with local animal rescue organizations, Dr. Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, and their dog, cat, and snake (Snakespeare). They are avid travelers, but always love spending time relaxing at the beach with family and friends.
Having cared for several senior animals, Dr. Erin has had the personal experience of going through all the challenges of end of life care and finally euthanasia for her own pets. She has a unique understanding for the difficulties and struggles of both her patients and owners during this time of life transition. Wanting to help ease the anxieties for all and make the end of life transition a peaceful and comfortable experience, she started Coello Veterinary Services.
Dr. Erin truly believes that a peaceful passing is one of the greatest gifts we can give to those we love so much, and she is honored to be able to provide this service with love and compassion.
